Creating A 10 Year Vision For Yourself
Nov 10, 2021They say that we overestimate what we can do in one year. And we underestimate what we can do in 10. And I think that is so true. It's such an amazing quote, I think about it a lot. And particularly when you think about it in terms of these companies that have emerged over the last 20/25 years, I mean, look at where Amazon started in 1995. With just a few employees out of a garage and Bellevue Washington and where it has come now the largest retailer in the world. Look at Facebook, starting in 2004, and where it's come in the last, you know, 1015 years, and look at where Tesla now is, you know, Tesla started around 2003 2004 and just hit over a trillion dollars I mean, GE and in Ford combined are only worth about 140 billion. Now Tesla's worth over $1 trillion. And so I think that's an incredible thing to think about when it comes to our own lives and our own businesses.
